My bad....... your post sparked a thought in my head so I put it down not as if I really made any great bold statements..... I will refrain from such in the future.

I'll be honest I didnt read the whole post because I saw the part about the government just spending and health care and that brought to mind a discussion that I heard this morning on the radio. They were talking about the debt that government has...

Do states even really have sovereignty anymore? I think it would be hard pressed to say that we have real states sovereignty these days and that if it came down to it I am pretty sure it would require a major revolt by the people to get it back wh...

Sounds like state funded abortion to me but heaven forbid we use any state money to talk about and promote the other side of the issue because then we must have some religious motivation right? Yeah wouldn't from a parents perspective giving your...

I'm totally with you on the idea that a lot of the banks probably didn't care quite so much whether people could really qualify for the loans or not when they were just going to offload them on someone else. That combined with the government and o...

If you read the stimulus package some of the stuff is available for the tax year of 2009 so for instance taxpayers would not be able to take advantage of the credits from the Individual Tax Relief Section until they file taxes next year. The bill ...

Hi Rob,
Its good to see a fellow Midwesterner out here in the bolgosphere, ehh. I'm in Iowa and was a Packer fan until MTM booted Farve and now KGB recently, too. I can wait till Murphy, Thompson and Mc Carthy get tarred and feathered. LOL....Anyway, Go Jets and stay in touch.

Awesome man. To start with, let me know if there's anything you think this site needs added to it. I'm still working on it, but I'm probably out of good ideas soon.

The main idea behind the site is to get people involved in politics and the community. A lot of people think that if they can't solve the world's problems then they shouldn't even bother to do anything. Our purpose is to convince people that the change they seek starts at the local level. Volunteering at a nursing home, etc. Everyone can do something to make this world a better place. You don't have to change Washington from the top down. It can change from the bottom up.

I'm hoping that the major effect will be that the message spreads from person to person to person so that eventually, we're actually reaching people who are apathetic and convincing them. I realize that at first the people who will join up are already people who are involved, but if we can spread the message that everyone should care, maybe we'll reach some people.
