Project Patriot Action

Apathy is not an option.

So I just heard something that is a bit disturbing and kind of weird. Apparently Planned Parenthood in Indiana is selling gift card for the holiday season. Ok now besides the fact that they do offer some services outside of abortion that some people depend upon would anyone ever get someone a gift card from a place like that for the holidays? And does it say anything about where we have come to that we have places like this offering gift cards for the holiday season?

Here's a commentary on this from the perspective of some folks who live in Indiana:

Wow.....I heard this today too. I have 3 daughters...I can think of WAY better gifts than that gift card. And here in Iowa the plan B pill is coverd by T19. Isn't that the same as State funded abortion?

Sounds like state funded abortion to me but heaven forbid we use any state money to talk about and promote the other side of the issue because then we must have some religious motivation right?

Yeah wouldn't from a parents perspective giving your daughters something like that be just like encouraging them to go out and have sex because its ok they can have "things" taken care of now that they have this gift card? Its kind of like the argument that I have heard for people giving out condoms and telling people that if your going to have sex at least be safe and use a condom. Granted a lot of research shows that these days abstinence only education isn't all that successful and I can see where that might be coming from but do we encourage them to still have sex anyway just "be safe, use a condom"?
